Special training for nanotechnology
For the researcher that is interested in nano materials, there are many traditional routes. I recommend a degree in either chemistry or chemical engineering, or physics with a material emphasis. There are some material programs but often materials is mixed with traditional studies. I would just recommend the traditional routes of chemistry and physics as well as chemical engineering and material science, electrical engineering and then look for the materials emphasis in those particular studies.

Tips/Advice to jumpstart a career in nanotechnology
You need to understand the technology and have the education to understand the technology. But then you also need to understand the business world to some extent in order to bring what you have into an actual product.

Why did you choose the field of nanotechnology?
I kind of grew into it. The company developed into nanotechnology and, naturally, I followed.

What is it like to work in nanotechnology?
It's very exciting.
